Since I was young, I have always been fascinated by people and their behaviour. I would watch my parents, my sister, my friends and people I came in contact with and find it intriguing as to how different everyone seemed.
As I grew older, I became more and more interested in human behaviour and the power of the mind. I realised that when I was being successful in what I set out to achieve it was largely down to my state of mind and my approach to life. When I was feeling positive and confident because the key influential things in my life, such as health, family, love and friends were all good, then I excelled in what I was doing. When things were not so great and I was feeling stressed and anxious, then my performance and success suffered – it was as if I was being held back from achieving what I wanted to achieve by my own mind!
That’s where hypnotherapy came in!
Some time ago I went through a challenging time following a life-threatening accident. I began suffering from anxiety and stress and that was affecting my relationships, health and state of mind. A friend of mine suggested I see a hypnotherapist to see if it would help and after putting aside my initial fear that I would walk out of the consultancy room clucking like a chicken, I booked an appointment. From that day onwards, MY LIFE CHANGED. I discovered a way of taking control of my own mind, my behaviours – my whole entire life. I became confident again; I learnt how to deal with my negative thoughts, and how to cope with situations in life that caused me anxiety.
I became fascinated by the power and effectiveness of hypnotherapy and have studied and utilised various techniques ever since.
Combining my love of training to teach others how to reach their potential I studied and became a NCH qualified Hypnotherapist and NLP Practitioner.
Since then I’ve been successfully working with many people to help them overcome issues that are holding them back from living a more complete, enjoyable and fulfilling life.
It doesn’t matter whether it is a lack of confidence, a fear or phobia, weight loss or smoking that is getting in your way, I believe we all have the inner resources to be what we want to be and achieve the goals we want to achieve. Therefore, with a little guidance from me, and a willingness to change from you, together we can help you help yourself!
